Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Suntronix Inc. ("Suntronix", "we", "us") handles information collected through this website. It applies to this website only. It does not cover information you give us in person, over the phone, or through a third party such as a finance company, whose own privacy practices apply to what they collect.
Suntronix is a nationwide custom sign company. We are a service-area business and do not operate a public walk-in location.
Information you give us
We only collect what you type into a form and send to us. There are three forms on this site, and each one tells us something different:
- Quote request. Your name, business name, email address, phone number, project location, the kind of sign you are considering, and whatever you write in the project details. You may also attach one reference file — a JPG, PNG, or PDF, such as a logo or a photo of your building.
- Financing application. Your name, business name, any DBA, business address, how long you have been in business, business type, the product and term you are interested in, any deposit amount, the name of an authorized signer, your email address, phone number, and any details you add.
- Dealer inquiry. Your name, email address, phone number, the market you cover, and the experience you describe.
Every form also has a hidden field that real people never see. It exists to catch automated spam, and anything typed into it is discarded.
Files you attach
A file attached to a quote request is sent to us as an email attachment and then deleted from the website server. We do not keep a copy of your artwork or photos in the website's media library, and attached files are never published.
The copy that arrives in our email inbox stays there until we delete it, in the same way any email attachment does.
Information collected automatically
Our web host records standard server logs when any website is visited — the requesting IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and the browser's user-agent string. These logs are created and controlled by the host, not by us, and are used for security and troubleshooting.
This website does not run analytics or advertising trackers, and sets no cookies of its own for visitors who are not logged in to WordPress. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy and say so here.
Embedded video
Project videos on this site are hosted on YouTube and embedded through youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. In that mode YouTube does not set tracking cookies until you actually start playing a video. Once you press play, YouTube receives the request and its own privacy policy applies.
How we use what you send
We use the information you submit to do the thing you asked us to do:
- Answer your question and prepare a quote.
- Pass a financing application to a finance partner for review.
- Evaluate a dealer inquiry and follow up about fit.
- Keep a record of the conversation so the next person you speak to has the context.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.
Who else sees it
Your information is shared only where it is needed to deliver what you asked for:
- Finance partners, if you submit a financing application. That is the purpose of the form; the partner reviews the application under its own privacy policy and makes its own decision.
- Suppliers, fabricators, and installers working on your specific project, limited to what they need to do the work — typically the site address and the sign details.
- Our web host and email provider, which necessarily handle the data in the course of running the site and delivering messages.
We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Where it is stored, and for how long
Form submissions are saved in a private area of this website that is not published, not searchable, not included in the sitemap, and not available through the site's public data interface. Only signed-in Suntronix administrators can read it. We are also notified by email so that we see your enquiry promptly.
Financing applications are handled differently on purpose. The notification email we receive contains only your business name and contact details plus a link — the application itself stays in the private area of the website and is not copied into anyone's inbox. The one exception is if the website fails to save it, in which case the email becomes the only record and carries the full application so that your submission is not simply lost.
We keep submissions for as long as we may reasonably need them for the project, the relationship, or our records. If you would like yours removed sooner, ask us and we will delete it, unless we are required to keep it — for example, records tied to a completed sale or a financing application.
Security, honestly stated
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, form submissions are protected against cross-site request forgery, and stored submissions are restricted to signed-in administrators.
We should be straightforward about the limits, though: notification emails travel over ordinary email infrastructure, and no method of transmitting information over the internet or storing it electronically is completely secure. Please do not send bank account numbers, card numbers, Social Security numbers, or tax identification numbers through the forms on this site. If a financing partner needs that information, they will collect it directly through their own secure process.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to suntronixsigns@gmail.com or call (319) 210-8545 and tell us what you would like. We may need to confirm who you are before acting on a request.
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies will not stop you using this site.
California residents
If you live in California, you may have the right to know what personal information a business has collected about you, to ask that it be deleted, to correct it, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. Suntronix does not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in California privacy law. To make a request, use the contact details above.
Children
This website sells commercial signage to businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
